Detailed View

The obvious purpose of the Detailed View section is to provide you with website ranking data in detail. Keywords and information about them are displayed in the context of a search engine and a date range.

The section is divided into three parts:

Dates Selector allows you to choose the time period for the data comparison. By default, when you open the section, the end date is today's day, and the initial date is 30 days before today's date.

Search Engine Chooser - in the context of a particular search engine, the graph and information in the table will be formed. More details about how to add and remove search engines can be found in the Rank Tracker settings section.

The “Update Rankings” button allows you to update the keywords positions and get REAL TIME information. In just a few minutes, the data will be updated to the current status. The positions are collected every day automatically, after 12 am according to your time zone (you can read more in the Profile Settings section).

The “Download Report” button allows you to export data to the PDF or Excel file. Only the elements that are visible will be exported (for example, if you hide the Keyword Dynamics column, it won't be exported).

The Graph

The graph shows keywords quantity and percentage (share of total number of the keywords that were added to the project). By default, it displays the TOP100 and the TOP10 keywords. Using the switchers, you can also turn on the displaying of the TOP5 and the TOP3 keywords on the graph.

When hover your mouse over any point of the graph, you can see the exact number of keywords that had taken place in the appropriate TOP on a particular date.

The Table

It represents the detailed information about your keywords using the key parameters. Below, you can see the list of available data to view in the table:

The first column represents all the keywords that you have added to the current project.

The Tags field shows all tags that are assigned to the keywords. To assign tags to your keywords use the Rank Tracker settings section.

The Search Volume column shows the popularity of the keyword in the selected search engine. Furthermore, by clicking on the proper icon near the value you can see the Search Volume History. On the pop up you can see the graph with the level of the search volume for the last twelve months. All the data is taken from AdWords.

The Keyword Dynamics column shows the dates of rise and fall of keywords positions. When hover your mouse over the dynamics field, in the pop-up window you find the information about the best and the worst positions of the particular keyword over the selected period and dates of these events. To view dynamics of any keyword by days, click on any cell of its dynamics field.

The Relevant URL column displays the page URL that is relevant to the current keyword.

KEI (keyword efficiency index). The higher the value, the easier to promote a keyword in the TOP10 of SERPs. The data is calculated according to the formula:

KEI = (search volume) ^ 2 / (total number of results).

Competition. The level of competition in the PPC (range between 0 and 1). The data is imported from Google AdWords.

CPC (cost per click). The price recommended by Google AdWords.

Traffic Cost. The value is got by multiplying values of ETV and CPC parameters. It shows how much paid traffic would cost in case you conduct a PPC campaign; allows you to estimate how successful your SEO-campaign is, and, if necessary, make a decision on the budget reallocation.

ETV (estimated traffic value). The expected traffic that you can get to your website. The data is based on the spreading of traffic in the TOP20 and the keywords search volumes.

ETV = search volume * traffic distribution rate.

TR (total results). The number of documents found in the SERP for a particular search query.

Added - you can see the exact date when the particular keyword was added and filter your keywords by this parameter.
